Eleonora Pellegrini was born in Florence (Italy), where at the age of nine began studying the harp. Eleonora went on to earn a Bachelors in harp from the Conservatory of music in Florence and a Masters in harp from the Conservatory of music in Parma. From 2011 to 2017 she performed with the Orchestra of the Royal Northern College of Music of Manchester during the Cantiere Internazionale d’arte of Montepulciano. For the past ten years Eleonora has been teaching classical and celtic harp to children and adults.
In 2015 Eleonora completed her training to become a certified Music Learning Theory teacher. This approach focuses on the belief that music is like a language and therefore in order to become fluent children should be immersed in it early on.
In 2018 she moved to Berkeley, California where she has been performing as a freelance harpist.
She joined the 41st Street Quartet: a chamber ensemble that combines elements of jazz and classical music.
